Dana (pictured with her husband, Chief Jim Yarger) is a Nurse, retired Paramedic & First Responder. Her experience at the Medical Control level brought her and Mel together with Emergent Insight to build an important resource for all level of licensure in the care of pediatric patients.

Mel is a Critical Care Paramedic, Firefighter, Educator, and agency leader. His long-standing passion for improving the pre-hospital response to our youngest patients led him to start this company with Dana in 2021.
